Using resources and experiences from a transnational master programme in applied cultural analysis (www.maca.ac) this project aims at increasing student mobility across the region and develop new dialogues between actors in both the private and public sector across the Sound.

Using tools from cultural analysis cooperative projects between Danish and Swedish actors will be developed in four fields:

  1. Urban planning
  2. Tourish and "green living"
  3. Health and livestyle
  4. User-driven Innovation

Students from Lund and Copenhagen Universities will be involed in these projects that include working with settings on both sides of the border and learn how to develop transnational dialogues.

The project will use these case studies to develop working models for regional integration between universities and different actors in the labour market. The students, with a background in humanities and social sciences will be exploring new, untradtional fields of job opportunities, bringing the tools of cultural analysis and intercultural communication with them out in these fields.

An important part of the project consists of making these experiences applicable in other academic settings and among other actors in the labour market. Workshops, web pages and "hands-on" publications will be part of this aim.
