The project «KIA - Kreativ Interaksjon i arbeidslivet » (Creative Interaction in the Workplace), will develop methods relevant to the cross-fertilization of artistic creativity within the development of the economy in the region. The key issue of the project is to explore and exploit the growing role of creativity in the region’s economy. The creative power inherent in the cultural sector will promote new ideas and bring new perspectives into the industry which will contribute to innovation and strengthen the economic competitiveness in the region.
The project aims to develop and improve the quality of innovation alliances, the measurement of the outcomes of alliances and the quality of the operators’ supporting role. In order to achieve this, a structured exchange of knowledge needs to be undertaken. A key goal is to build a competency knowledge-base, which the operators can use to support innovation alliances between artistic excellence and the workplace.
The result of the project will be a Scandinavian model of innovation alliances and metrics that ensure the quality of the work. In the long-term, this will strengthen sustainable development in the region. It will also generate a more creative, innovation-rich work environment in the area and at the same time attract more artists to work in these new arenas.
